Software announced that Skyroot Aerospace, India s pioneering
private space launch service company, has adopted Polarion software
from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to digitally transform its software
development processes. The move is set to enhance efficiency, collaboration,
and compliance as Skyroot advances toward commercial orbital launches with its
Vikram series rockets.
Founded in 2018, Skyroot
has rapidly grown into a 500-strong team of space professionals. The
company made history in 2022 with Vikram-S, the first privately
developed rocket from India to reach space and is now preparing for its first
orbital mission with Vikram-1. By leveraging advanced technologies such
as carbon composites and 3D-printed engines, Skyroot aims to
provide affordable, on-demand, and versatile launch solutions.
With Polarion, Skyroot will unify
