ExoTechnologies, a sustainable composite materials giant, and Ventum Dynamics, a renewable energy company, have launched the world’s first fully recyclable wind turbine. Enabled by ExoTechnologies’s natural fiber-reinforced thermoplastic DANU composite, the turbine is set to step into the market in 2025.

This achievement is the result of a year-long collaboration to reimagine the VX175 rooftop wind turbine. By integrating DANU Composite Technology, the VX175 sets new benchmarks for sustainability and performance, redefining the future of wind energy.

With its patented omnidirectional design, the VX175 efficiently captures wind from all directions, delivering up to 3kW of power. Operating at an ultra-quite level of under 40dB, it achieves a projected levelized cost of energy (LCOE) of just €0.05/kWh – setting a new standard in renewable energy efficiency and versatility.

    The VX175 isn’t just an innovation – it’s a revolution

Combining Ventum Dynamics’ renewable energy expertise with ExoTechnologies’ cutting-edge materials, the VX175 represents a bold step forward in creating a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
