CompPair, a leader in sustainable composite solutions, has officially signed the declaration of the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA), marking a significant step in its mission to drive circularity across the industry.

Launched in 2024 by EuCIA in partnership with JEC, the ECCA brings together stakeholders across Europe s composite materials value chain to accelerate the shift toward a fully circular economy. The alliance is structured around five focus areas: designing for recycling, collecting and sorting composite waste, increasing the use of recycled content, investing in recycling technologies, and systematically monitoring progress.

By joining ECCA, we are reaffirming our dedication to composite solutions that not only reduce impact but actively preserve materials and extend product lifespans, said a CompPair spokesperson.

CompPair s flagship HealTech technology enables ultra-fast, on-site repair of composite materials, allowing parts to be repaired up to 60 times, drastically reducing waste and supporting circular design. The company sees repairability as a critical yet often overlooked element of the circular economy, one that can unlock significant environmental and economic benefits.

ECCA s collaborative platform aims to set industry-wide targets, coordinate innovation, and establish common frameworks that move the composites sector beyond incremental improvements toward systemic change.

We are honoured to be part of this important initiative, CompPair stated. ECCA gives the industry a collective voice and a clear roadmap to make circularity the rule rather than the exception.

CompPair will work alongside other alliance members to raise standards, develop new materials pathways, and advance solutions that enable a regenerative future for composites.
