WeylChem Wesseling GmbH operates Europe's largest backward-integrated feedstock supply of cyanate ester raw materials and its derivatives, supported by a sophisticated on-site hydrogen cyanide (HCN) network. This strategic position has enabled a forward integration initiative, including investment in cyanate ester chemistry to meet both current and future customer needs.

Dr. Stefan Sigmund, Managing Director of WeylChem Wesseling, said: "This is a very exciting time for our company. With strong support from our Group CEO, Dr. Andreas Maier, and encouragement from our key customers, we are entering the advanced materials market with a strong product portfolio. Our products will be marketed under the Welcure and Welset brand names."

WeylChem Wesseling also announced a long-term strategic partnership with Novoset, LLC, a New Jersey-based advanced material company. Dr. Sajal Das, Founder & CEO of Novoset, has joined as a partner in innovation, marketing and growth.

Initial offerings from the Advanced Materials Business Line will include Welcure BTCDA and Welcure CAF, along with TAC and TAICROS. TAC and TAICROS are widely used as crosslinkers in polyphenylene oxide (PPO) and hydrocarbon resins for CCL and other industrial applications. BTCDA is recognized in the electronics and aerospace markets for epoxy curing and polyimide building blocks.

With a long-term commitment to this market, WeylChem Wesseling is dedicated to delivering greater product diversity, supply security, outstanding performance, economic value, and sustainable benefits especially for emerging, AI-driven applications.
