SkyNano, a science-based technology company focused on commercializing a free-market solution to carbon pollution, celebrated its move into a 20,000-square-foot facility in Louisville, Tennessee, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 20.
Anna Douglas, CEO of SkyNano, commented on the significance of the new facility for scaling up the company's carbon capture and utilisation technology.
Cary Pint, CTO of SkyNano, noted that the company's Gen 3 device is capable of producing 200 grams of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) per hour.
Demo projects underway at the facility include applications in low-carbon building materials, lithium-ion batteries, cementitious composites, and Navy composite structures.
