    Park Aerospace Corp. has selected Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, as the location for a new advanced composite materials manufacturing facility, reinforcing its long-term commitment to expanding aerospace production capacity in the United States.

    The new plant will manufacture advanced composite materials for commercial, military, business aviation, and space applications, supporting the increasing use of lightweight composite structures across next-generation aircraft and defense platforms. The facility will be constructed at the Tulsa International Airport Aerospace Industrial Complex, strengthening the region's position as a major aerospace manufacturing hub. Park Aerospace said the site was selected because of its established aviation ecosystem, skilled workforce, and proximity to aircraft manufacturers, maintenance providers, and supply chain partners.

    The investment is expected to enhance the company's production capabilities for high-performance composite prepregs and related aerospace materials while improving supply chain responsiveness for customers. The expansion also positions Park Aerospace to support rising aircraft build rates and growing demand for composite-intensive airframes.

    According to the company, the project will create approximately 90 high-skilled jobs and represents a capital investment of about US$80 million. Construction is expected to begin following completion of the design and permitting process.

    Park Aerospace specializes in advanced composite materials used in aircraft primary and secondary structures, engine components, radomes, and space systems. Its material portfolio is widely used in commercial aviation, defense, unmanned aerial vehicles, and satellite applications where lightweight construction and high structural performance are critical.

    Tulsa International Airport officials welcomed the investment, noting that the project further strengthens the airport's aerospace industrial base and reflects continued confidence in the region's manufacturing capabilities.

    The new facility is expected to play an important role in supporting the aerospace industry's transition toward greater use of advanced composite materials, which help improve fuel efficiency, increase payload capacity, and enhance structural performance in modern aircraft.
