Mangohojden AB, a privately held Swedish company aiming to build a portfolio of specialist aerospace and defense businesses, has acquired Slingsby Advanced Composites Ltd. from Marshall Group.
Slingsby was founded in 1931 and has been part of the Marshall Group since 2010. The company manufactures complex composite structures for land, air, and sea defence applications.
As part of its growth under Mangohojden, a fourth autoclave has been installed at the Slingsby facility, expanding its production capacity for advanced composite components.
Torbjörn Johansson of Mangohojden AB provided a quote outlining the strategy to build a network of niche European defence and aerospace composite companies through targeted acquisitions.
