Kineco Group, a leading Indian specialist in advanced composite solutions for aerospace, defence, rail, and renewable energy, has acquired TRB Lightweight Structures Ltd (TRBLS), a UK-based manufacturer with over 70 years of expertise in lightweight rail components.
The acquisition represents a key milestone for Kineco Global Rail, the flagship rail brand of Kineco Group, reinforcing its strategy to become a global leader in turnkey rail interior systems. TRB is a long-standing supplier to leading rolling stock manufacturers across Europe and Asia.
The deal follows Kineco's December 2024 acquisition of Semvac A/S, a premier European brand in railway sanitation systems. Together, TRB and Semvac will leverage Kineco's vertically integrated engineering and manufacturing base in Goa, India, enabling scale, competitiveness, and wider global reach.
