Hexcel has announced the successful transition of its entire winter sports industry production to the new HexPly® Nature bio-derived product range, replacing the conventional HexPly M78.1-LT system.
The transition has been completed in partnership with leading winter sports brands including Elan, Fischer, Kästle, Stöckli, Tecnica Group (Blizzard, Nordica), and Völkl.
Alberto Zanatta of Tecnica Group provided a quote highlighting the multi-year development effort that went into validating the new bio-derived prepreg system for performance and sustainability.
The HexPly® Nature range is part of Hexcel's broader commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of its composite materials while maintaining the mechanical performance required by elite winter sports equipment.
