CompPair, a leader in sustainable composite solutions, has officially signed the declaration of the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA), joining the initiative launched in 2024 by EuCIA and JEC Group.

The ECCA focuses on five key areas of composite circularity and aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy within the European composites sector.

CompPair contributes its HealTech self-healing composite technology to the alliance's goals. HealTech-enabled composites can be repaired up to 60 times, significantly extending service life and reducing the need for part replacement.

A CompPair spokesperson provided quotes on the company's commitment to circular composites and the role of repair-enabling technologies in reducing composite waste.
