First Connection, a leading agency in trade fair and conference organization, has officially announced the ninth edition of TransRail Connection, taking place on October 14-15, 2025, at La Communale in Saint-Ouen, France. The event, now a cornerstone for the railway and urban mobility sector, will gather over 500 participants, including 70 exhibitors and key industry players from across Europe and beyond.
Founded in 2011, TransRail Connection serves as a strategic hub for fostering collaboration and showcasing technological innovations shaping the future of rail. This year's event will feature a focused agenda on three transformative themes: Artificial Intelligence in Rail Operations; Innovative Materials and New Industrial Processes; and Decarbonization and Sustainable Mobility Solutions.
Composite materials, critical to reducing weight and enhancing efficiency in rail infrastructure and vehicles, will be highlighted alongside other advanced technologies such as IoT, Big Data, additive manufacturing, and smart maintenance systems.
Major industry stakeholders including SNCF, Alstom, RATP, Siemens Mobility, Keolis, Transdev, Hitachi Rail, and Colas Rail are confirmed to participate as speakers and panelists. They will delve into the current challenges and strategic transformations reshaping the rail ecosystem, from digitalization and green mobility to infrastructure modernization.
