Toray to Showcase Next-Generation Composites at CAMX 2025

The Toray Group announced its participation in CAMX 2025 in Orlando, Florida, presenting TORAYCA carbon fiber, thermoset prepregs, and thermoplastic composite solutions marking its centennial theme.

The Toray Group, a global leader in high-performance composite materials, announced its participation in CAMX 2025, taking place September 9-11 in Orlando, Florida. At booth Q13, Toray will present its TORAYCA carbon fiber, thermoset prepregs, Toray Cetex, and CFRT thermoplastic composite solutions, serving aerospace, defense, automotive, sports, recreation, and industrial applications.

Marking nearly a century of innovation, Toray is highlighting its centennial theme, "Pioneering Change for the World," with advanced materials designed to reduce weight, enhance fuel efficiency, and improve performance across industries.

Exhibit highlights include:

  1. A composite fan containment case demonstrating crack-resistant TORAYCA T700 braided carbon fiber fabric.
  2. Hy-Bor hybrid prepreg technology (a CAMX 2025 Unsurpassed Innovation finalist), integrating boron fiber with T1100G/TC380 for exceptional compression strength.
  3. A motor cowl and bracket from Joby Aviation, produced with Toray T800HB/TC380 prepreg, soon to be added to the NIAR NCAMP database alongside T1100G/TC380 UD tape prepreg.
  4. An automotive door panel demonstrator, featuring Toray TC750 epoxy, MicroPly TC248SF, and AmberTool.
  5. A bio-based EcoTerra composite sample for sustainable consumer products.

Participating Toray companies include Toray Composite Materials America, Inc., Toray Advanced Composites, and Toray Performance Materials Corporation, each showcasing expertise in carbon fiber, thermoset, and thermoplastic materials.

Toray invites visitors to booth Q13 to explore its next-generation composites advancing sustainability, energy mobility, and quality of life.
