The Superyacht Coating Conference will return to Metstrade 2025, bringing together global leaders and technical experts from the superyacht coatings industry. Scheduled for 18-19 November 2025 at RAI Amsterdam, the event is co-located with Metstrade and The Superyacht Forum and organized in partnership with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) and the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss).
Designed as an exclusive B2B event, the conference will host a maximum of 250 invited professionals, fostering in-depth dialogue on the latest legislation, ISO standards, sustainability requirements, inspection technologies, and dispute resolution practices. The programme will also highlight innovations in surface preparation, antifouling solutions, and quality assurance.
Speakers from across the superyacht value chain, including ICOMIA's environment consultant Albert Willemsen, will deliver insights on current and future challenges. Attendees will also benefit from networking opportunities aligned with The Superyacht Forum, strengthening connections across the broader marine industry.
"The topic of superyacht coatings remains one of the greatest challenges facing the new build and refit yards," said Niels Klarenbeek, Director of Metstrade. "The Superyacht Coating Conference is an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and expertise among those who have a passion for creating perfection in paint."
Supported by leading industry players such as AkzoNobel, Hempel, BAE Systems Inc, MB92, Pettit Paint, De Koning Group, and Wrede Consulting GmbH, the conference will continue to run biennially alongside Metstrade and The Superyacht Forum.
