High Temperature Material Systems (HTMS) has been selected to join Mobilise, an early-stage accelerator programme supporting innovative zero-emission and connected and automated mobility (CAM) technologies. Mobilise is a joint initiative by the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) and Zenzic, part of the U.K. government s 2.5 billion DRIVE35 initiative to maintain Britain s leadership in clean mobility.

The 18-month innovation accelerator supports the UK s most forward-thinking clean mobility companies with mentoring, funding, and technical validation. Through Mobilise, HTMS will accelerate the development of its ceramic composite EV battery enclosure system, aimed at making electric vehicles lighter, safer, and more cost-effective using a UK-focused supply chain.

This is a unique opportunity to fast-track our high-temperature composite technology with expert support, and to play a meaningful role in shaping the UK s zero-emission future, said Will Larkin, COO of HTMS.

The selection marks a significant milestone for HTMS as it advances next-generation high-temperature composite solutions for the automotive sector.
