Embraer, a global aerospace leader, is making its
debut at MSPO, Poland s premier international defense industry exhibition,
held September 2 5. The company will spotlight its KC-390 Millennium
multi-mission aircraft at Hall 1, Booth E18, reinforcing its growing
footprint in Europe and commitment to collaboration with NATO allies.
We are excited to participate in MSPO for the first time.
This prestigious event represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the
bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite us with our Polish partners. We
regard Poland as a nation with a rich aerospace heritage and as a vital NATO
member, said Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO, Embraer Defense
& Security. The KC-390 Millennium could play a key role in enhancing
regional capabilities and interoperability.
Embraer s participation underscores its strategic ambition
to deepen ties with the Polish defense and aerospace industry. The
company is actively building a European ecosystem around the KC-390, covering
training, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and R&D. This initiative
enhances Europe s collective defense capabilities while fostering greater
interoperability among allied nations.
The KC-390 Millennium has already proven itself with
multiple NATO members. Since entering service with the Brazilian Air Force
(2019), Portuguese Air Force (2023), and Hungarian Air Force (2024), the
aircraft has achieved a 93% mission capability rate and over 99%
mission completion rate. To date, 11 air forces worldwide, including
eight European countries and seven NATO members, have selected the
KC-390 as their tactical transport solution.
Built with extensive use of advanced composite materials,
the KC-390 achieves lower weight, improved fuel efficiency, and increased
payload capacity. With the ability to carry 26 tons of cargo, cruise at 470
knots, and operate from unpaved runways, the aircraft delivers
unmatched versatility. Its missions span troop and cargo transport, medical
evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting, humanitarian relief, and
air-to-air refueling proven both as a tanker and as a receiver.
By investing in advanced composites, operational readiness,
and European partnerships, Embraer positions the KC-390 Millennium as a future
cornerstone of NATO s tactical transport fleet.
