Daher has announced the establishment of a permanent facility in S o Paulo to strengthen support for its TBM and Kodiak aircraft in Brazil, one of the world s fastest-growing private and utility aviation markets. The new office will serve as Daher Aircraft s headquarters in the country, handling customer relations, fleet support, and business development.

With a booming private and utility aviation sector and increasing demand for aircraft that are both high-performance and useful, our TBM and Kodiak models are a perfect fit for Brazil s operational needs, said Nicolas Chabbert, General Manager of Daher s Aircraft Division. Establishing a local presence will allow us to better support our customers and underscores our commitment to contributing to the future of Brazilian aviation.

The six-seat pressurized TBM aircraft is recognized for its performance in business and leisure travel across Latin America. The latest TBM 960 offers a maximum cruise speed of 610 km/h and a range of 3,204 km sufficient to cover the continent. Equipped with advanced digital features such as the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6E-66XT engine with EPECS control, a Hartzell Raptor composite propeller, and Garmin G3000 avionics, the TBM 960 also integrates Daher s e-copilot suite, which includes flight envelope protection, automatic emergency descent, and the HomeSafe automatic landing system.

Designed for multipurpose operations, the Kodiak 100 and larger Kodiak 900 bring unmatched versatility to Brazil s demanding environments. Both aircraft feature STOL (short takeoff and landing) capability, modern Garmin avionics, and low operating costs.

    • The Kodiak 100, powered by a 750 shp PT6A-34 engine, offers a payload of 1,600 kg, 10-hour endurance, and float-ready capability, making it ideal for operations in remote and coastal regions.
    • The Kodiak 900, with its 900 shp PT6A-140A engine, delivers faster cruise speeds of 390 km/h, an extended payload of 1,646 kg, and a range of 2,091 km, with 9% lower specific fuel consumption to reduce operating costs.

Both models are optimized for passenger transport, cargo, agricultural, and public safety missions, providing resilience and autonomy in challenging conditions.
