September will be a pivotal month for DIEFFENBACHER, as the German machine and plant manufacturer brings its advanced composites solutions to three international trade fairs. The company will exhibit at the ACCE Conference in Novi, Michigan (September 3 5), CAMX in Orlando, Florida (booth D79, September 8 11), and the China Composites Expo in Shanghai (booth 7L41, September 16 18).

This marks the first global trade fair season where DIEFFENBACHER will present solutions integrated into its portfolio following the November 2024 acquisition of Schmidt & Heinzmann s composites business. Exhibits include SMC production lines, cutting systems, stacking units, and wide roving cutters, reflecting the expanded offering.

    Infrastructure and Automotive Applications

At ACCE, DIEFFENBACHER will highlight infrastructure and construction applications, such as railroad and telecom components and door skins. A notable showcase will be the custom solution for U.S.-based Xerxes, enabling efficient production of underground stormwater tanks used to buffer heavy rainfall.

At the China Composites Expo, the focus will shift to automotive composites, where DIEFFENBACHER will present energy- and material-efficient plant concepts that lower manufacturing costs while meeting shorter cycle times.

    Technology and Service Innovations

    • Augmented Reality (AR) app: Projects full-scale 3D models of press systems, such as CompressEco and Fiberpress, into real-world environments via smartphone or tablet.
    • Hydraulic press portfolio: Ranges from 1,000 kN to 50,000 kN, with flexible, energy-efficient models like CompressEco and Fiberpress.
    • Lifecycle support: Customized modernization, automation expertise, and 24/7 service ensure smooth plant operations worldwide.

Trade fair month is an excellent opportunity to engage with customers in North America and China, said Marco Hahn, Director Sales of the Forming Business Unit. We want to understand market-specific challenges and further tailor our solutions.
