Composite Integration Ltd.,
in partnership with Atech Composites Co. Ltd. of the Horizon Group,
successfully delivered a two-day composites workshop in Taiwan,
attracting over 50 professionals from the marine, aerospace,
automotive, and offshore wind industries. The event featured hands-on
sessions, live demonstrations, and technical training on vacuum infusion,
resin transfer molding (RTM), and reusable vacuum bagging technologies.
The program emphasized how these
processes can be adapted to meet performance and quality requirements across
diverse applications. Our aim is to share expertise openly and support
manufacturers across industries in finding the most efficient and effective
composite processing solutions, said Richard Bland, technical director at
Composite Integration.
Beyond the workshop, Composite
Integration is actively engaging aerospace customers in Taiwan and Southeast
Asia to advance liquid resin infusion (LRI) technologies for
next-generation lightweight and sustainable aircraft structures. The
company also continues its close collaboration with superyacht builders,
including Horizon Group, to develop composite solutions spanning
hulls, decks, and interiors.
Chris Chen, general manager of
Atech Composites, noted strong industry response: The workshop was very
valuable, and we received positive feedback, with attendees commending both the
presentation and the demonstration content. Together, we are helping customers
adopt advanced composite technologies that will shape the future of marine
design and beyond.
