Carbitex, a leader in flexible carbon fiber composites for sport performance and lifestyle products, has partnered with Hypetex Coloured Advanced Materials to introduce a bold new chapter in carbon fiber innovation: a colored line of Carbitex’s OmniFlex material

For the first time, Carbitex’s advanced carbon fiber textile technology will be available in eight vibrant colorways,  Enzo Twill, Oak Twill, Malabar Twill, Bolt Twill, Spa Twill, Tendulkar Twill, Zidane Twill, and Titanium Twill, breaking the tradition of carbon fiber's signature black aesthetic. The colored materials maintain all of OmniFlex’s hallmark performance features: zero-stretch construction, lightweight durability, and the unique ability to flex while transferring force like a rigid material.

“Our core strength has always been engineering flexible composites, but color has been a frequent request,” said Carbitex founder and president Junus Khan. “With Hypetex’s expertise, we’re delivering a solution that’s as beautiful as it is high-performance, without compromising on quality.”

Hypetex, known for its advanced colorization of composite materials, brings its proprietary CAM (Coloured Advanced Materials) technology to the collaboration, enabling designers to explore a new fusion of aesthetics and function. The result is a composite that retains OmniFlex’s industry-leading strength-to-weight ratio while opening new creative opportunities for manufacturers in sectors like cycling, travel, and premium lifestyle products. The colored OmniFlex materials are set to appear across a range of high-performance and design-focused applications, expanding the reach of flexible carbon fiber into new product categories.
