Visitor registration is officially open for Advanced Engineering UK 2025, the country s leading annual
engineering and manufacturing event, scheduled to take place on 29 30
October 2025 at NEC Birmingham. Recognized as the only UK event that
connects the full industrial ecosystem, the 2025 edition will spotlight an
expanded Composites Pavilion, a new SME Village, the ADS
Pavilion, AM2 Forum (Additive
Manufacturing and Advanced Materials), and a dedicated Electronics Zone,
all designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and long-term industry
growth.
This year s event comes at a critical time for the UK manufacturing
sector, following the government s unveiling of a 10-year industrial
strategy. With promises to reduce
energy bills by up to 25% for over 7,000
firms and billions allocated for R&D,
AI, and industrial innovation, Advanced Engineering 2025 is expected to
mirror this momentum across its show floor.
Returning after a record-breaking 2024 event that drew over 9,800 attendees, the show will continue to champion real-world engineering solutions, spotlighting technologies that enable net-zero composites, energy efficiency, and smarter production systems.
A major highlight for 2025 is the newly expanded Composites Pavilion,
already fully booked in advance. Organised in collaboration with Composites
UK, the pavilion provides SMEs with turnkey exhibition pods that enable
cost-effective exposure. Strategically positioned adjacent to the Composites
Networking Zone, it will draw high-value OEM foot traffic and sector
leaders from aerospace, automotive, marine, and renewable industries.
This year s Composites Forum, also revamped by Composites UK,
will deliver two full days of expert-led sessions focused on
sustainability, material circularity, and advanced product development. The
Networking Zone will feature live demos from PRF Composite Materials,
showcasing rapid-cure prepreg technologies and innovative recycled carbon fibre
systems.
Elsewhere, the SME Village will highlight breakthrough solutions
across automation, semiconductors, and embedded systems, while the Electronics
Zone offers visibility into the rapidly evolving industrial electronics
landscape.
Atlas Copco returns as sponsor of the Automotive
& Aerospace Networking Lounge, bringing Smart Factory solutions focused
on sustainability, productivity, and digital transformation. Jessica Porter,
Marketing & Communications Manager at Atlas Copco Tools & Industrial
Assembly Solutions, confirmed, We are excited to showcase how manufacturers
can harness digitalisation, automation, and vision inspection to drive
sustainable outcomes.
The 2025 show will feature more than 400 exhibitors, including 130
first-time participants, ensuring fresh insights and product innovations.
Over 200 speakers will also contribute to forums addressing supply
chain resilience, digitalisation, sustainability, and skills development
through initiatives like #MINDTHEskillsGAP.
In addition, the Composites UK Industry Awards Dinner will return
on the evening of 29 October at the adjacent National Motorcycle Museum,
creating further networking opportunities for industry leaders.
Simon Farnfield, Event Director at
Easyfairs UK & Global, emphasized, Advanced Engineering continues to offer
unmatched value by uniting the UK's entire industrial ecosystem under one roof.
The 2025 edition promises more innovation, more collaboration, and more
actionable solutions than ever before.
