VABO Composites is reinforcing its strategic position in the
global yacht-building market with the launch of two new yachting projects in
Europe. The initiative shows the company s continued push into high-performance
marine composites, particularly in the premium and superyacht segments. Both the
projects focus on one clear goal: reducing weight without compromising safety
or performance.
In Poland, a well-known custom series yacht builder has selected VABO to supply lightweight composite watertight hatches and doors for a new yacht series, including several units with certified FRD60 fire rating. The project will be built under DNV class.
In France, a new shipyard FC Cube is developing a high-performance, comfortable sailing catamaran. For this yacht, VABO will deliver lightweight FRD60-rated hatches and doors, as well as luxury interior doors. This project is being built under RINA class.
Both projects highlight a key advantage of composite solutions in modern yacht building: significant weight reduction compared to traditional materials. Less weight means improved performance, better efficiency, and increased design freedom.
