UAVOS a global unmanned-systems specialist and VEDA Aeronautics an India-based aerospace & defence firm have signed a strategic agreement to co-manufacture composite aerostructures for unmanned aircraft in India.

Under the collaboration, UAVOS will transfer technology and provide full engineering support to VEDA Aeronautics for production and assembly of critical UAV components including fuselages, wings, skin panels, and movable surfaces using advanced composite-processing methods like resin transfer molding (RTM), autoclave curing and hand-lay-up techniques.

The partnership aligns with India s Make in India policy, aiming to bolster domestic manufacturing capabilities in aerospace and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains. As a leading engineering service company, UAVOS will share its experience in producing composite structural components and assemblies, including fuselage and wing parts, skin panels, and moveable surfaces.

Dipesh Gupta, Managing Director of VEDA Aeronautics, said:  We are excited to partner with UAVOS, a company with extensive technical expertise in unmanned aircraft and composite part production. This partnership will strengthen our capabilities and reinforce our position as a leading unmanned systems company in India. It supports the Make in India policy, contributing to India s drive for self reliance and technological advancement in manufacturing.

Aliaksei Stratsilatau, Founder and CEO of UAVOS, commented:  VEDA Aeronautics is a key strategic partner for UAVOS, and our collaboration with them is extremely important. Their knowledge in producing advanced unmanned systems, combined with VEDA s large scale local production capabilities, forms a strong foundation for long term, mutually beneficial growth.
