Cevotec has partnered with KCompositeLab to bring its Robotic Lamination technology to South Korea. The collaboration will target the country's aerospace and hydrogen industries, with a focus on automated manufacturing of complex composite structures.
Cevotec's Robotic Lamination technology is based on SAMBA Step, a robotic system for automated fiber patch placement. The process places individually cut fiber patches onto component surfaces. This allows manufacturers to control fiber orientation and reinforcement across complex geometries.
The approach is suited to composite structures with varying load requirements. Fiber patches can be positioned according to local structural demands. This enables targeted reinforcement while supporting automated and repeatable production.
Through the partnership, KCompositeLab will support the deployment of Cevotec's technology in the Korean market. The companies also plan to work with local manufacturers and research institutes on pilot and demonstration projects. Technical workshops will form another part of the collaboration.

The companies will also have a joint presence at Carbon Korea 2026 in Seoul from November 4 to 6, 2026. The event will provide an opportunity to demonstrate the technology and engage with Korean composite manufacturers and other industry participants.
