The American
Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) organizes its first-ever
Composites Evolution event on October 22 23 in Knoxville, Tennessee,
marking a major milestone in the association s mission to advance the U.S.
composites industry. The two-day program brings together >80 participants
including innovators, manufacturers, suppliers, and policymakers to explore
emerging technologies, evolving regulations, and business strategies redefining
the future of composites manufacturing.
The event features
high-level discussions on regulation, automation, tax optimization, and
operational efficiency, delivering actionable insights across the entire value
chain. Attendees hear from industry experts and tax professionals on how clean
technology incentives, sustainability mandates, and shifting market forces are
transforming how composites are produced, applied, and valued.
Cindy L. Squires, Esq., President & CEO of ACMA stated, This event represents more
than just an exchange of ideas, it s a collective commitment to ensuring that
composites remain at the forefront of sustainable, high-performance
manufacturing. By connecting innovation, policy, and performance, we re
helping companies, future-proof their operations and stay globally
competitive.
Following two years
of ACMA s policy advocacy, recent Congressional legislation opens new
opportunities for composite manufacturers to leverage tax incentives, enhance
sustainability, and strengthen workforce retention. Composites Evolution
provides participants with the tools to act on these developments immediately -
through material innovation, process automation, and compliance strategies.
Throughout the event, participants engage in:
Participants leave with practical insights on reducing regulatory risk, optimizing throughput, improving product quality, and boosting worker safety and retention. ACMA expresses gratitude to all exhibitors, speakers, and event sponsors, Superior and Rheo AI, for their support.
As the composites sector navigates evolving market and environmental challenges, Composites Evolution reaffirms ACMA s leadership in guiding manufacturers toward a sustainable and profitable future. Building on this success, ACMA plans further initiatives including the 2026 Composites Fly-In and the Thermoplastic Composites Conference to keep members informed, connected, and ready to lead the next wave of innovation in composites manufacturing.
