Aquila Power Catamarans has launched the 36 Molokai, a more compact addition to its Molokai line of fishing catamarans following the earlier 47-foot model. Designed by Peart Yacht Design, the new 36-footer carries over the series' twin-hull stability, step-hull efficiency and angler-focused deck layout.
Aquila's CEO described the boat as built primarily for serious offshore anglers while still working well for family outings. Standout features include a carbon fiber hardtop engineered to support heavy tower installations without extra reinforcement, an integrated tackle station with optional BBQ kitchen and pull-out coolers, a customizable bow area, and a sleeping cabin with private head for overnight trips.
