AM Group today announced the acquisition of UBC Composites, a leading European specialist in high-end carbon fibre components for both aesthetic and structural applications. With this acquisition, UBC s production facilities in Germany and Slovakia will now operate as part of AM Group, adding world-class carbon fibre capabilities to the Group s portfolio.

UBC, with decades of expertise in engineering, prototyping, and serial production, serves premium OEMs and high-end clients across Europe. Its integration into AM Group strengthens the Group s foothold in the premium automotive sector while creating new growth opportunities in defence, yachting, aerospace, and renewable energy.

Continuity for UBC s customers is guaranteed: the company s 170 employees will remain in place, preserving expertise and ensuring stability. UBC will benefit from new investment and additional business within AM Group, providing a platform for renewed innovation and long-term growth.

Leadership continuity is also assured, with UBC continuing under its current management in Germany and Slovakia. No changes will be made to employment, locations, or working conditions.

With UBC, we are not only adding world-class carbon fibre production to our group, but also a strong team and a proven reputation for quality and innovation. This acquisition moves AM Group firmly into the Champions League of premium automotive engineering and advanced composites, said Luis Carrera and Patrick Meijer, Founders of AM Group.

When selecting a partner for UBC, our priority was to secure both stability and growth. AM Group brings the right combination: financial strength, new business opportunities, and a strategic fit with our high-end carbon fibre expertise. Together we can build on UBC s reputation and expand into new complex niche sectors, added Peter Gerl, Managing Director of UBC Composites.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone for AM Group, accelerating its innovation in design, engineering, and customisation, while enhancing its ability to serve OEM and niche industry clients worldwide with greater capability.
